A change to my boring days in Perth - doing NOTHING everyday except to watch Tv shows, play with the kids, surf the net, eat and sleep.
Monday: Went to watch 'The Love Guru' at Belmont cinema.. dear got free tics.. haha.. must really say, i won't pay to watch this movie as it is quite brainless. BUT BUT, the movie is SERIOUSLY super duper FUNNY!! haha.. Mike Myers is really hilarious and Jessica Alba is REAL HOT!! and some of his 'teachings' are really inspiring..
After the movie, drove to Vic Park to look for makan makan.. We were still quite full from the popcorn and the drinks so we decide to walk around Vic park.. Whao! it is like really really COLDDD!! i was wearing a long sleeve and a jacket but i was shivering real hard.. decide at last to eat at a Lebanese Restaurant..
We had this lamb minced meat in a ball with salad and it is reallllly DELICIOUS! haha.. but the outer covering which is just fried dough is quite hard to chew and swallow. overall, ambiance is nice and food is GOOD!
Went to drink teh alia! wahaha.. didnt know Perth got one of my favourite hot drink!! super cool!!
yupz! it is quite yummy and gingery! mmmm.. warms us up in the cold!!
Tuesday: entertained myself in the morning when dear when to school.. decide to walk to broadway to visit IGA, Kongs and all the eateries there. spent about an hr plus there. Came back to tommy and watch TV and sleep.. haha.. slacker's life!! shiok! dear came back in the afternoon and he did his work till abt 4 plus.. then we went to the BEACH!! yes yes, we went to the beach in the cold wearing shorts, t-shirt and jacket (me), 3/4 pants, t-shirt (him). We went to Swanbourne Beach which is just next to Cotts. The water is realllly freezing cold! We just stood there and let the water freeze our legs.. haha.. The sky there is amazingly beautiful! No photos though! the images will stay in our mind forever. =) took a long long walk down the beach and chat chat a lot!! walked till it was dark and there are only us at the beach!! sweet!! *scary actually when we can't really see what is in front of us*
went to NB to eat at this Shanghainese Restaurant after that.. wah wah!! the hot and spicy fish slice soup dish is DA BOMB!! sooo SPICY and sooo DELICIOUS!! we can't stop drinking the hot and spicy soup.. quite expensive though (close to 50 bucks for only 3 dishes, rice and tea).. oh wells, i will still go back for the hot and spicy fish slice soup..
after that, went back for an early night.. =)
